Tung Ting 凍頂

At elevations around 500 - 800 m, in Nantou County, Taiwan. Misty clouds in the tea area, this is the first place to grow oolong in Taiwan.

The leaves are high oxidized and fermented, in the more traditional Tung Ting style, and finished with a careful baking. The tea soup is sweet and has a green and floral fragrance.

A luminous amber color and pleasant sweet aftertaste linger through many infusions.
