Tung Ting Oolong

This oolong is grown at elevations around 500 - 800 m, in Nantou County, Taiwan. This is the first place to grow in Taiwan.

The leaves are high oxidized and fermented, in the more traditional Tung Ting style, and finished with a careful baking. When infused, the tightly rolled balls unfurl with a mouthwatering aroma of flowers and fruit alongside savory notes of fresh apricot, salted licorice and raw sugar.

A luminous amber color and pleasant sweet aftertaste linger through many infusions; note how the roasted fragrance grows as the leaves open.
